18 year playoff drought, I think the Mariners front office has been the worst in pro sports for a LONG TIME... I do like Dipoto though as a GM, he's made some bold moves that could pay off... time will tell..

Not buying it. They have revenue and almost zero chance they lose money. ould have kept Brantley and let payroll stay the same and that makes a huge difference.

Sorry but I disagree. They have consistently been in the lower percentile of attendance in the last decade. That is where most of their money is coming from. They don't have a major TV deal

I've been saying forever if the team competes AND they show a pulse the next offseason attendance will spike. In Dolan's ownership this has happened all of one time. Competed in 2016 then added EE after the season.

attendance went up 33%. why should the fans spend if the owner shows no will to win? BTW, even in this market, Tribe is usually at or near the top in local TV ratings, which was probably good for Dolan when he owned the station and when he sold, wouldn't ya say?

and don't kid yourself, MLB does have a major TV deal and the owners received a windfall from it.
