I think Tawee Walker will put up starter numbers so I wouldn't say I'm leaning as much on Ott staying healthy to solidify my RBs. I'd agree the rest of my RBs outside of the top 4 I'm gonna need some luck with though. I think Mahdi ends up being the guy for Arizona, he's familiar with and more equipped for the offense their new OC is plugging in. Mockobee could have a decent year if he stays healthy in Odoms offense even though Purdue sucks too

I sorta wish I had considered/thought about Tawee a little more where you took him. I just didn't think about him enough when thinking about my picks in that range.

Oh one more pick I forgot to mention that I really liked was Jordan Dwyer. I think he ends up a catch machine.

I would throw Tawee in my picks I liked. I just had to narrow it down a bit to not make it too long of a list.

I can tell you that there are way more picks "That I like", then "That I didn't like", actually have to nitpick a bit to find picks I didn't like.

Right, but do you want to depend on starting both RB’s at the same time most of the year? That’s my only thing. I guess I just don’t like starting two RB’s and two WR’s off the same team.

No question the numbers are good and both players are good.
I hear ya. I put myself in the position that if I have to pick one, the other is going to go off :)

LOL- True.

Didn't that sorta happen to ya with Henderson and Miyan a few years ago? Btw, Miyan is in the CFL with Toronto. I was always surprised he didn't make it in the NFL a little longer.

Yeah, they did me dirty a couple times. 5 carries 20 yards for my starter, 10 carries 150 for the bench.

I swear I led the league in bench points that year.

He has a hard cast below his knee. Expected to be out a couple of weeks from today. So could be ready for the season. I never trust college news in terms of timeframe of return but we do know he is hurt and he is going to miss most if not all of the rest of camp. The good news is he did so well in the Spring and early fall practices that he has for the most part earned a starting job and he and Lagway have had some impressive chemistry.

I know Dak Moore is the center of the conversation, but on a side note, I think Dante Moore is the most interesting player in CFB this year. I could see him being the most productive QB in the country or flame out by week 4. Some of those games at UCLA were so laughably bad, but with the time off to regroup and playing in that offensive juggernaut... he could figure it out. True boom or bust type of player.

Feels like another situation like that for Ohio State this year. I love People's but I think next year will be his real breakout. Donaldson is going to likely poach a good amount of short yardage TDs from him and also yardage in general.

Speaking of bust... Malachi Nelson.

Another random thought. Little surprised Noah Whittington as never drafted late in this league. Guy has been Oregon's backup RB for what seems like 15 years now.

This was my biggest concern and why when I once leaned Peoples with the pick I took Haynes, I backed out. You know Donaldson is going to poach.

That's the scenario I'm hoping for. I didn't have to draft Donaldson anywhere near where a starting Buckeyes RB would normally go. I'm not expecting a starter's workload, but I agree that he could be more involved than people are expecting.

I am impressed with the convo in this thread. This is what makes the league super fun. When we have people talking.

Speaking of Ohio State. Kienholz was a sneaky late pick. He isn't going to beat out Sayin but he's close. Could be a nice keeper swoop for when he transfers somewhere else after this season. Could also end up playing this year too, Sayin has such a small frame I worry about him getting hurt

The BSU coaches are playing the "speak nice about an outgoing player" game, but reading between the lines, it doesn't seem like he can hack it. The BSU coaches would always say positive things about his arm talent and then quickly pivot to how good of a grasp Madsen had on the offense, which felt like a indirect shot at Malachi. Madsen is a 5'10" noodle arm who was coming off a significant injury and Nelson couldn't beat him out. Doesn't sound like he's the frontrunner at UTEP either.

I think both end up with 700+ yards but neither get to 1,000. Id give the edge to Donaldson fantasy wise because of more TD potential.

Yes. I think OSU was lucky to be able to still have him on the board in Rd 24. I think Sayin wins that job. I am pretty confident in that but if anything you have the safety net and like you said could very likely transfer and be in a great situation last year if you want to toy with the idea. Couple reasons for drafting him.
