As this 60 game tournament kicks off the pitchers will likely be ahead of the hitters .....and in 2019 the following teams in the A.L and N.L posted team eras in the top 10 spots in Each league:
Tampa Bay/Houston/Oakland/Minnesota/cleveland
Atlanta/St.louis/Cubs/Cincinnati/L.A. Dodgers
With this in mind......i think the following match-ups could appear in the "so called world series"later on this fall:
Oakland vs. Dodgers
Tampa Bay vs. St. Louis
Minnesota vs. Atlanta
Isee no teams that had losing seasons last year in the A.l. making it through.....but my three picks for a loser from last season making it may be either Philadelphia/San Diego/or Pittsburgh from the N.L.
The wild card in this thing will be covid outbreaks and/or injuries that could 'torpedo" any of these teams late.
