From throwing TDs to throwing blocks
Our 3rd string TE. This article makes me like his attitude and willingness to learn. Plus, his measurables are eye-popping at 6'5" / 264 / 4.6. Ryan Hewitt has taken him under his wing also to help teach him the finer points of blocking.
It also does amaze me that Ryan Hewitt went from undrafted, to a possible perennial pro-bowl FB, to taking rookies under his wing and being their mentor and coaching them up on the finer points of blocking and getting into the right position. Hewitt was from Standford right? Now there is a guy that doesn't sound like a FB/TE who may be a partial moron!
