What should happen in right field for 2020?

  • Keep Yastrzemski there

  • Move Yastrzemski to center, start Jaylin Davis

  • Platoon Yastrzemski/Davis

While I can’t stand him, the idea of bringing in Puig is not horrible. He has unquestioned ability, and would certainly offer entertainment. Not certain I would want his personality around any of the kids I hope we cycle through this year, though.

He had a down year so he could be had cheaply (for him), but it is questionable, considering 2019, how well he'd hit in SF.
I think its more likely we see Lonnie Chisenhall come in on a minor league deal. He can play both infield and outfield and has had a decent bat, when healthy. Additionally, he bats left handed, filling a hole the FO has said that they want to fill. However, health has been an issue. He didn't play in the big leagues at all last year.
