This team is as stacked depth wise as any with as many as 52 roster spots already penciled in. Here are the battles.
1. Backup QB. Kessler gives a reasonable alternative to Sudfeld and I think will be given a chance to earn the 2nd QB spot. Thorson should be a 53 Man roster spot stash assuming he doesn't get "hurt".
2. Starting RB. Sanders will be given a chance to be the guy although I expect it will be billed as a rotation r job share to begin with Howard.
3. 4th RB. Largely based on Special teams return for either Scott, Smallwood, Pumphrey or Adams.
4. 6th WR. Does it really matter who is on the 53 or 62 for this slot?
5. 3rd Active tackle. If Vaitai doesn't earn this over Dillard he may not be on the team.
6. 3rd Active Guard. If Wis doesn't earn this over Pryor he may not be on the team.
7. 4th DE. Sweat's job to lose?
8. LB. Seems wide open from 2-6 after Bradham.
9. CB. May be wide open from 1-6.
10. 3rd Safety for either Sendejo, Countess or ?
