I think Saquon will do well - he's simply too talented not to do so. But no doubt he will have perhaps the single largest target on his back in the entire NFL. Teams are going to focus on him like a laser beam.

It's not a perfect situation, no doubt... but Saquon has a great ability to rip off big runs... and defenses which stack against the run are vulnerable to that to an extent... sometimes it only takes one blown assignment or missed tackle, and then no one is downfield to make the stop.

So... Saquon will be fine from a fantasy perspective.

Furthermore: this isn't new territory for the Giants. OBJ has missed a whole bunch of games the last two seasons.

I mean ya kind of contradict your own point. With washed up Eli playing, how much are teams really respecting the pass anyway? Golden Tate actually compliments Eli's lame ducks throws decently as well.

The bigger win for the Giants is signing Zeitler, who is a massive upgrade on the line. That was a TERRIBLE trade (far worse IMO than the OBJ trade) by the Browns, and Zeitler will not only help the run game immensely for ALL RBs on the roster, but also help Haskins/Murray/Jones. Granted I think all those guys will bust, but I think there's less of a chance with Kevin on the line.
