Not bad for a guy who was at the very early stages of his career and was just starting to break-through with an entry-level contract. Not that he was poor but his biggest paychecks were assumed to be ahead of him. Yet he still chose to do what he could for the time being while asking for absolutely nothing, not even recognition which would have been deserved, in return.
