OK, so if last night's games are any sign of how many penalties will get called and what is/isn't a penalty now that the playoffs started... the Sharks are pretty much screwed?

They are going to have to kill A TON of penalties and that 29th ranked PK and Niemi will give up a lot of goals... and since they can't score a lot on Halak/Elliott, uhh.. yeah.

NOT good.

Yeah I'd want the Sharks to stay 5 on 5 as much as possible. Sure their PP is good, but I'd rather just keep special teams to a minimum.

If they skate hard they won't have to take the stupid obstruction penalties. Also I am more worried about the PP than the PK. We all know the PK sucks but if the PP doesn't heat up and they can't deter St Louis from taking penalties they will be screwed.

EDIT: If I am remembering correctly the Blues are one of the most penalized teams in the league this year. Tight officiating would befefit the Sharks.
