AFC is interesting with 2 teams pretty much built around a deadly passing game, 3 teams that can run the ball with the best of them, one team relying on its defense, and one team thats just kinda alright at everything. When the teams seem this even it'll likely come down to doing what you're bad at. When the Chiefs played the Bills earlier in the season, they ran the ball the whole game.

Playoff wins in the AFC: Big Ben - 13, Rivers - 5, Mahomes - 4, Tannehill - 2, Jackson - 0, Allen - 0, Mayfield - 0

I'm not saying Big Ben is the favorite here but its hard to pick the Bills, Ravens or the Browns to make it all the way to the Super Bowl even though they look good on paper.

Agreed. I think the SB team in the AFC comes down to KC, Pitt or Buf and it all depends on how the lower seeded teams do. If Pitt can avoid a 2nd round matchup with Buffalo, I think we can make it to the AFCCG. But it's really hard to pick them right now seeing how the offense is anorexic now to scoring points, just like last year. Chiefs are head above everyone else in the AFC in my opinion.

KC is just frightening. I watched something talking about a team being able to run the ball and keep Mahomes on the bench but I'm not sure that matters. It seems like even when they come out looking shitty, you can't go for a piss break or you come back and they have scored twice in the blink of an eye. I think the only way they get beat is if a team can do what the Raiders did and just outscore them.

I kinda just want Mitchell Schwartz out there in the worst way as a KC fan. Yasir Durant as the RT would give me a heart attack against the Steelers.

Really is there a scenario where the Chiefs won't be in the Superbowl (excluding an injury to Mahomes)?

Eric Fisher gets injured and the whole oline is backups and Mahomes runs for his life.

Thats really the main scenario.

Also, after last night if the Browns had held on to win they would have a clear path to winning the division. Losing that heartbreaker let the Steelers walk into the division title.

The current version of the Chiefs OL is very, very bad. Could definitely happen if a team got up on them and forced the Chiefs to dink and dunk. Don't know if that's the version we see in the playoffs, but I would not be at all shocked to see the Chiefs to lose to several teams in the AFC. There's a reason they haven't crossed a 200 point differential this year. Not necessarily as simple as the defense not being elite either.

With Miami the Chiefs just wildly out-talent them so they can force-feed situations, even with 4 turnovers, where they can get 11 yards a pass and large chunks on the ground interspersed in between.

Yep, that Oline is really the only big issue and it might come down to who they face. Titans don't have a great pass rush but T.J Watt is scary and the Colts D could give Mahomes some grief.

Eagles win division and make a run through the playoffs - only to lose in the Superbowl.
Wentz wins "almost MVP"

Call me a homer but I think the Hawks take care of business against the Rams week 16. That would pretty much clinch the division.

Nah I'm confident they have their act together after that disappointing loss against the Giants. We'll see though that's why they play the games.

Seahawks and Rams will be 10-4 going into the game, Seahawks as usual will find a way top fuck it up after beating the Rams, they will lose to the 49ers while the Rams win.
