Brady is not a mobile QB which should help us. Hopefully we can get some sacks and turnovers. We do better against pocket passers.

Good news.

  • Bucs head coach Bruce Arians said he doesn't expected LB Devin White (COVID-19) to be available for the team playoff game against Washington.

White is the team's leading tackler and only player in the NFL with at least 100 tackles and nine sacks. Tampa opens the postseason on Saturday, meaning White won't have enough time to quarantine after a positive COVID-19 test. Arians admitted the Bucs' pass rush was not as potent with White sidelined in Week 17 against Atlanta.

Recovery from a mild to moderate sprain following a knee hyperextension injury can take 2 to 4 weeks. It's important during this time to limit activities that can further strain the knee and to continue to manage swelling and pain.

We are in the playoffs and undoubtedly no one had us here. Let's just enjoy this weeks game win or lose knowing we are actually building a winning sustainable culture. Next season looks bright albeit a very difficult 2021 schedule.

I just got one thing to say
(cant be too supportive as I am a Cowboys Fan)
Alex Smith has a pretty good winning percentage against winning teams.

You have to understand I cant root for the skins, but I can this season root for Smith!

Sadly the rivalry has been so diminished by dysfunction and our owners over 20plus years. I know you are an older fan such as myself, Tomcat, Sportster and Dad... those were the days! I hope to see both teams more competitive in the future and a return to some fun respectful smacktalk someday soon.

And btw, can’t help but root for Dak myself. A true gent and football player.

Cheers!

  • Washington head coach Ron Rivera said he could rotate Alex Smith and Taylor Heinicke against the Bucs on Sunday.

Smith, returning from a calf injury that kept him sidelined for two weeks, had limited mobility last week against the Eagles. It was clear he hadn't fully recovered from the calf issue. Rivera said the Football Team "definitely" had to consider rotating Smith with Heinicke, who relieved Dwayne Haskins in Week 16 and completed 12-of-19 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown against the Panthers. The potential QB rotation makes Smith unplayable in Wild Card DFS contests.

I was a big fan when the signed JDR ... that Young guy didn't hurt either. Add Darby, Curl, Holcomb and KPL.

Didn't someone say that the WTF front office sucked, the GM or lack of GM sucked and all they signed was crappy FAs?  If we were all as smart as we think we are ....

Those were the days! Cowboys vs. Redskins use to be like Christmas and THE RIVALRY in the entire NFL with great players on both teams.
