2013 NFL playoffs -- Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts receive ticket sale deadline extensions - ESPN

Kind of crazy 3 teams are having problems selling tickets for their playoff games. Even crazier and extremely stupid is their blackout policy. I doubt none of them get blacked out, but how bad would that look if a playoff game gets blacked out? NFL needs to fix this.

New rule. If team with the worst record has trouble selling their games then the game goes to the team with the better record. If the team with the better record already has home-field advantage, then they get to waive the blackout. Don't like it? ;)

Look....I'm a 5 hour drive from Green Bay and you couldn't give me tickets to that game, if I was in town this weekend (I'm not). My neighbor is a season ticket holder and he's not going. Too cold and it will look real nice on his flat screen.

Nah. Let cities who can't support a team not watch them.

Just shows how over priced tickets have gotten for football games and how wussy people are now.

Yeah, I'm a half hour away from Green Bay and got offered tickets about 5 times because they all know I'm a huge fan of the 9ers. I passed on them all because spending 200+ so bucks to drink over priced beer, freeze my ass off, and wait in line to take a piss doesnt sound as nice as watching it in my 70 degree man cave

Why would anyone pay 200 plus dollars to go sit and freeze your ass off for 4 hours after fighting traffic for another hour and then fighting it again to get home.............No thanks.

I can't imagine it was like this during the Brett Favre era.

This is why I hope to God the Super Bowl happens smack dab in the middle of a huge blizzard. I want to see the NFL squirm under the weight of their own stupidity.

I can't imagine the NFL letting a playoff game get blacked out, as it's just not good business sense.

Those tickets are going to be "accounted for" somehow.

Looks like blackout avoided

Never thought it was going to happen anyways.
