Do any of you think players like McGinn#64, Wingels#57, Demers#60, Desjardins#69 will get to pick their number?

Or do you think those are the Numbers they picked?

Those are the numbers they were assigned by the organization. Demers probably had the oppertunity to pick a new number before the start of this year.

Desjardins has been asking for a new number, either picked or assigned, for the last two years.

The boys have to earn their numbers, although it is easy to argue that Demers already has earned it. Demers wore number 5 in Victoriaville of the QMJHL, hopefully he gets his shot at a new number soon, that #60 is just plain fugly.

I love the number 88 but for whatever reason it does look a bit odd on a defenseman.
