I gotta agree with you on these. They were all immediately WTF plays before the play was even over. On 3rd and goal from the 1 we need to give Dak the option to throw or run it in if it's there. He has been almost unstoppable running the ball inside the 5

The one that gets me, that Linehan does all the time is the empty backfield on 2nd & 5/short.

1st Down: Rush 4-5 yards
2nd Down: empty backfield set, completely eliminating the threat of a run, incomplete pass

Happens all the time. I don't understand why Linehan thinks it's a good idea to remove the threat of a run to the defense in that down and distance?

I was shocked when we couldn't run it in from the 1 yrd line at the end. The Raiders deserve some credit there too. I agree we shouldn't have passed but I thought for sure we would see a read option.

So true. I hate that. He does do it all the time, which causes a lot of three and outs.

I thought it was interesting since we ran 3 straight times at the one (which I dont have a problem with) it was with Morris, when normally lately we ran Rod Smith at that point & would score & he was sidelined.

I'm a big, big fan of running inside the 5 and I'd rather see us run it 3 times than pass it 3 times. My only issue was 3rd down. Dak has just be incredible there. I know teams would look for it so you couldn't really run a straight QB draw. But run something where he has the option to roll out or do something with it. Running it though was better than a fade. That play drives me nuts on 3rd down. There is no other option if it isn't there.
