Yeah, the Cards & Reds to you guys is the equivalent of Arizona vs. Giants for a Padres fan. Somebody's gotta lose, right? I think Pirates fans should be hoping the Reds can do some damage because St. Louis is a force.


Looks absolutely gorgeous in Chicago this afternoon. Wouldn't mind being in Wrigleyville at all today enjoying some cold adult beverages in baseball heaven.

What to do with Morton and McDonald? they cant send Locke down, when Cole comes up he is here for good barring being terrible, I guess they both go in the bullpen.

I am watching on MLB.tv and about 20 min it crashed and since then it won't load. It spools up to 100% and then just sits there. Restarted the browser and still nothing. I guess you guys are just watching the local broadcast though, aren't you?

Did you see Soriano stand there and admire his flyball instead of actually running? What would have happened if the CF had dropped it in the ivy? He literally didn't walk 10' from homeplate. :rollseyes:

I've never been a huge fan of his compete level.

I can barely remember a very "besotted" evening in left field of Petco when me and about a dozen other fans gave Soriano hell. We had chants going that had fans from as far as down the 3rd-base line and the terraces getting in on. We were good enough that he actually turned around and just looked at us a time or two.
