Now we know that this year's competition is going to be a race between all of the Mercedes powered cars and maybe Renault because Ferrari has just become a royal nightmare. So this should be another test of who will get their Mercedes running the best.

Just when everyone-in-the-know thought Ferrari was dead for the season, Vettel shows-up in FP2 leading Bottas and a couple of newcomers. Hamilton is presently 16th. A nice result to see: Grosjean driving for Haas is 8th. All of this is in the wet as the rain made a showing as well.

Hamilton takes the pole over Bottas followed by Racing Point Stroll and Perez. Vettel is fifth.

Looks like Merc are going to run away with this, stunned how bad Red Bull was in quali I thought this track would suit them. The pink cars who's team name escapes me since it changes so many times are looking quick. Perez always has good race pace.

Verstappen came all the way back to second after suffering a crash during qualifying. He got driver of the race.

I was referring to someone making a mistake. It'd be a shame to trash it all because someone didn't brake correctly, or had someover/understeer...

Pretty significant moment when he lapped Vettel in the top Ferrari who was having a decent race all things considered.
