Formula One heads to the Netherlands for the Dutch Grand Prix. Verstappen and Red Bull continue to separate themselves from the rest of the competition as Verstappen is seeking his Second Consecutive Championship. LeClerc is simply fading and Perez and Sainz are emerging as legitimate contenders for Second Place. Russell continues to out-shine Hamilton for the Mercs as Hamilton continues to fade into the shadows for racing this season. Should be another fun F-1 Euro-race to watch.

Fade into the shadows?

Until he clipped Alonso he had done 5 podiums in a row and was outshining the guy he's fading behind in Spa as well. Out qualified him even though he was giving Russell the tow in qualifying.

Spent the afternoon go karting with daughter and a friend. Twice it was just us on the track. So much fun. I love it. I even posted the best time of the week for anybody not an employee in the last race.

I saw folks doing it at Spa last week. The track here is very similar and the karts are identical.

And you can easily go fast enough to hurt yourself. I did 4 years ago after a tank slapper put me into the kerb and my ribs hit the side of the seat. I was fucked up for 3 months. Had to sleep sitting up for the first month.

I usually go at least 4 times a year. I refuse to fade into the sunset.

So the dinguses with the flares have learned that they will be ejected when caught with them so now they decided to throw them on the track. I wish FIA would have thrown the red flag for the last one in Q3 and cost Max the pole. That would have taught those idiots a lesson.

Mercedes looks like they figured something out, either that or the lap is too short for their flaws to matter. And until I see otherwise I will assume that this is not the weekend Ferrari stops fucking up strategy.
