After a two-week mini break, F-1 starts a string of three races in November this week-end of the final five for the championship. The Mercs and Hamilton have a bit of time to catch Verstappen and the Red Bull Hondas as the season is marching to the close in Abu Dhabi in December. This race in Mexico is always a contest that can produce a new winner but Hamilton has done well here in recent history and we shall see if he closes the 10-poimt gap to take the lead.

Time to shit or get off the pot for MB.

RB looked good here previously, but this season has proved the past doesn't much matter.

I may be wrong, and this season more often than not, but I think MB turns up the wick and Lewis wins.

In other words they plan on taking a new engine in Brazil and wring the shit out of this one.

Because of the history or RB success in Mexico, complacency may well be a factor.

Would also be nice if spunky Perez stole a win in front of the home crowd, but only if Lewis is 2nd.

Looks like it is Red Bull and the Hondas versus Petronas and the Mercs. Verstappen dominates FP-2 followed by Bottas, Hamilton, and Perez.

Sometimes Hamilton says stuff like this to hide a strategy or something he has up his sleeve to not give the competition any advantage but if it is true, Verstappen is going take this one. Apparently the Hondas continue to find speed and the Mercs haven't kept pace. We shall see how qualifying goes.

Weird how both RBs had their wings essentially fall apart for Quali.

Switching it up just to see if I can gain on leaders.
Think it will cost me points, but I am not racing for 2nd! (just yet.)

Valtteri just won both championships for Red Bull today. All he had to do was stay on his line off the grid and let Lewis slip through off the start, but he drifted right, had Lewis need to back out because of his shallow angle and Max blasted past both on the racing line. I am surprised we didn't hear team radio of Max laughing. Easiest win I have seen in a long time.

Then he found himself in no man''s land and closed Ricciardo off getting himself spun out of the points.

well I had to go for it.
Cost me 6 points from my original picks, (would have had 1st through 3rd) but if Perez would have gotten by, I would have been the only one to use that combo & would have gained a lot on everyone.

In my mind as I revised my picks I intitially went with Gasly in 4th.

Then thought, nah, Bottas won't screw up.
