After another comeback win for Red Bull's Verstappen, Max now leads Hamilton by 12 points in the championship race. If the Mercs don't soon figure out what is ailing their cars, Hamilton may get overwhelmed by Red Bull and his eighth championship run this year will disappear. Should be interesting to see how the Mercs respond to the emerging dominance of Red Bull and their drivers of Verstappen and Perez.

Bottas is handed a three-place grid penalty for acting like a clown on pit lane while Hamilton and his Merc have found some speed that might get past Verstappen this week-end.

Hamilton takes Practice 3 but is faltering in Qualifying.

Verstappen takes the Pole for the Styrian Grand Prix followed by Bottas, Hamilton, and Norris. Perez is fifth. Because Bottas gets a grid penalty, the line-up is: Verstappen, Hamilton, Norris, Perez, and Bottas.

Norris and Gasley have been awesome this year. Russell also just missing on Q3 (after a legit 12th last week) in a Williams is making a real case for the Mercedes spot next year. Would love to see him nab some points these next 2 races. Been a solid year so far top to (almost the) bottom
