2019 Terry Mclauren 2020 Antonio Gibson 21 -

Its still EARLY but it looks like we've got something good going on in the 3rd round.
Do you foresee any gems?
I'm going with -- J.Holland from Oregon/Cisco from Syracuse @ 74
Mills/Mond @82 - Sometimes Mills looked amazing, and other times terrible. Mond, im not crazy about BUT getting to sit may lead to him becoming a capable starter.
---Do I absolutely love these picks in the 3rd? NO -- but I didn't expect Scary and AG to be so dominant either

who ya got?

"If" we trade 51 as Sty mentioned to the Jets in a deal involving Scherff, we better hit a Homerun on both 3rd round picks or if there is a player we love in round 2, package both 3rds and move up. Ideally keep the picks and target possibly a WR, S or additional LB since we could use another. I see us going LB in round 1.

Ohhhhh, i missed that. I'm curious what Sty said, he works at FedEx, only way he is so confident about these scenarios lol

I've got nothing at the moment but good observation you made about our 3rd round picks.

Not neccessarily and highly unlikely we take a guard in round 1 or 2 regardless of what we do with Scherff.

You mean Scherff and 51 for 23, VanRoten & 86? Seems like a great deal for both parties unless the Jets want to wait until next season to sign BS in FA. Either way, they pay more next year for BS if they really want him that bad.

no its not , not at all for the jets . they aint taking an expensive one yr rental . they are better off waiting till he hits FA or simply draft a OG

I agree unless they can do a sign and trade.

I think a sign and trade will cost them more . I don’t understand how on one hand you can say ( not you specifically sportster ) that 18 mil is too much for a OG but the jets would jump at 18 mil plus for one . And then go on to think BS. Would take less in a sign and trade to the no chance at playoffs anytime soon Jets without getting bigger money . Why would BS tie himself to the jets for less money and a losing team

One teams philosophy is not anothers. Do you really think Scherff stays next year? Highly unlikely so, are you going to sit back and let this idiotic situation play itself out all over again? Go find a trade partner for BS and start working on a deal that helps us while losing Scherff rather than lost him for a 3rd rounder. Perhaps the WFT is prepared to pay BS $18m this year and a big fat deal moving forward. Still say that's also bad business.

Whether I think BS stays here next yr is in material . We are not getting the number 23 pick overall for a one yr rental period .
now if you are talking about a 2nd or 3rd rounder for a one yr rental then maybe but that wasn’t the trade I am commenting about . The trade was BS and a pick for the 23rd overall and van rotten . With all these hoop jumping sign and trades
