Hamels VS Nova. The Good:Hamels is pitching! The bad: Ruf is not in the lineup. Even though he had a 5 game hitting streak and was hitting over .400 against righties at Lehigh. He will still be a platoon player facing only lefties. Howard will be the DH. Howard is in a big slump. What harm would it do to start Ruf as the DH today? Sandberg and Amaro continue to be senseless idiots.Just more mental torture for Ruf in my opinion!

Phillies should be lucky to get ONE really good prospect in return for Hamels. Hes a #2, plain and simple

Hamels did not get hit hard today. A routine pop-up falls for a double because Galvis lost the ball in the sun. He missed a start and that has to take an effect. he will be better his next time out there.
