Damn straight Northeast and jvett. You guys have such a grasp of what is going on with this franchise that they should hire both of you to fix it. I would bet even money we would have a championship in two years or less if the dumbasses in the FO would do that.

Common sense Vs stupidity and stubbornness. The Phillies are not flexible in their approach. They have no plans to change.

Pathetic. Outscored 41-16 in their current 6-game losing streak. With 5 games remaining, Phils can join Mutts in fourth place with very little effort. I don’t think paying a billion for both Harper and Machado will even help next year. Most fans are on drugs now.

I consider myself a lifelong Phillies fan - in my early 50s at the moment - and have been consistently following and watching them since mid-70s

I have seen some stinker teams through those years

This team though has angered me more than any other stinker teams as far as I can remember
not sure why...

Part of it has to do with this latest nose dive
I live in Colorado and these pinheaded "Rockie fans" out here are the ultimate in fair weather fans
When the Rockies suck you do not here a peep out of them and then once they get a little bit of success they come crawling out of the woodwork

Anyways I wanted nothing more than the Phillies to put an end to the Rockies season and these dang Phillies failed me in so many ways out here

It doesn't matter how much they lose. They are too damn stupid to know what a horse's ass looks like even when it's staring them in the face.
I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that they feel that they will overpay a name or 2 to come to Philadelphia in FA and when that doesn't happen, then what?. What they don't understand is that IF they sign some names the current moron in charge won't know what to do with them. Kapler makes Chip look good.
