Norris VS O'Sullivan. Both pitchers can be pounded. Look for more Oriole homeruns today. The best thing about Thursday will be Aaron Nolas debut with the Iron pigs. I vision the headlines: Nola wins triple A debut
as Ruf homers and drives in 3 runs.

8.29 Bud Norris was 15-8 last year so he knows how to pitch. In the Phillies current state, he'll have no problems today. O's 8-4.

Good news at Lehigh. Nola tosses 5 shutout innings in debut and Ruf goes 2-4 with an Rbi. Looks like they are going to limit Pitches for Nola or at least innings.

He threw 98 pitches....66 strikes. Sounds like he had some deep counts. Good idea to get him out of there.

I'd love to see Nola up here. People will pay to see a good rookie starter. If he does come up and even performs like STL's Wacha, he'll lose a lot of frustrating 2-1 games for the Phillies, however, getting MLB experience is important as the team moves toward optimistically contending in '17 - '19 (lot of holes to fill). Hopefully he'll become part of a starting staff with guys like Buchanan, Pettibone, and/or other mature prospects.

Might see him in august if all goes well. They will not rush him along.
