All teams welcome the chance to play the Phillies as it seems to get them out of slumps. Brewers, Dodgers and now the Giants! At least no one will have to stay up late tonight and suffer the usual results. The constant use of Dom Brown while benching Revere and or Herrera, or Asche is beyond common sense. But we know that it still Amaro pulling the strings!

Yep. As an organization, the FO and the managers are slow to keep people in the line-up who are consistently productive while preaching that is what they are looking for and instead are playing players who aren't based on some mythical criteria that has little basis in any stretch of logic or baseball acumen.

We know that Revere was dealing with the hamstring early July and did not start for four days. The other day, I did hear them say that Revere feels much better now.

k.. so.. revere has clearly been on the block for a while. and multiple teams have interest. if he can play, he gets to be in the lineup. if his leg isn't up to it, he doesn't. dom brown is in the lineup because it's a dead season, and he's still 27. they have to decide whether to just cut him, see if there is any potential left at all or try to get anything in return for him. even francoeur has a bit of trade interest, so he plays some.

asche has been given plenty of time. ruf was given his chances. herrera played a ton early on. franco has played every single game so far. hernandez is at 2nd. rupp has played a lot. so yes, please try to stay informed.
