I was actually shocked to see he's only finished in the top 30 of NL MVP voting three times, and those finishes were first, 12th and 30th.

If you told me he's only once finished in the top 10 of MVP voting I wouldn't have believed you.

ESPN's Jeff Passan hears that it will be a 13-year, $330 million contract with no opt-outs, a new North American sports record for overall dollars committed to one player. Harper will also receive a full no-trade clause. There was a last-minute push by the Giants and Dodgers, but reports have pegged the Phillies as the highest bidder for weeks, maybe even months, and they've finally landed the 26-year-old superstar here on February 28. Harper should rake at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park and now looks like a far more attractive low-first or high-second round pick in standard fantasy formats.
