Harper strikes out in 1st at bat. Vinnie getting shelled. 5 runs allowed in 2 innings.

love the lineup all day long, but wow they need to go get someone for the rotation ASAP

when is it going to be enough with Velasquez....hes bad.........plain and simple. At his VERY BEST, he can get you 5 innings of 1 run ball.......he can't go past that, the problem is hes more likely go to 4 innings and give up 3-6 runs

convert him to reliever and be done with it, and Eickhoff just isnt anywhere close to being ready, but also maybe thats just what he is now. Lets not forget how bad he was in 2017

the fact that we have to rely on Pivetta and Eflin to be middle of rotation guys is kinda scary. Lets also not forget Arrieta is more a really solid #3 at this point and isn't a 2 either...............

hey, theres no question the bullpen should be much stronger than last year. You just hope Kapler doesn't blow through it by August

Nola is great. Arrieta is good. Eickhoff and Pivetta can both be good. I think Velazquez could be a good starter but I think him being a really good reliever is more likely. With the offense they have, the pitching should be plenty for this season.

3 K's in 1st inning..........around 1 HR, a walk, he almost hit a guy, and it takes him about 30 pitches to get thru 1st inning
