Plus Philly turned 50 last week. I know its been done before, but i like to see the old timers win on the PGA tour.

71, 71 on the weekend placed Phil in a T24 position.

That wasn't going to do it on a fairly short, and soft golf course....the fact that 50 y/o Phil can still go low is fun to see, but I think Phil needed the crowd there to push him.

Phil can't put together four rounds of solid golf. He has become streaky.

Yep...that's one of the signs of an aging star golfer...can't finish or like you said can't put 4 together.

But...when you can shoot 63...even if it's just for one or two rounds against the best in the world...it's tough to start looking at the Champions tour.

To be honest I think I would rather see Phil dominate (although he might not dominate) on the Champions tour vs being an also ran on the PGAT
