As a true freshman in 2019, McDuffie impressed in coverage on the rare plays he was tested deep by allowing just one 20-plus yard catch on eight such targets. He missed only one tackle on 45 attempts and can hit with some great power.

Minnesota shocked the college football landscape in 2019, finishing regular-season play with a 10-2 record and capping its season off with an upset victory over Auburn in the Outback Bowl.
