It’s a tool and a tool onlyAccording to this Payne or Allen should be traded.

I don’t think so at this timeIf you can get a first for one of these guys would you do it?
Dunbar needs to find a way to keep Dunbar on the field.I don't follow PFF so I know little about it other than what you guys post here. Just looking at those grades I would say they look pretty close to right. Now doubt (in my mind) that Dunbar and Ioannidis were the class of the defense. We need to find a way to keep Dunbar on the field.

Let's wait until they've had at least one season with a (supposed) real, pro-level, coaching staff.
Allen is too valuable in a 4-3 base set. If ( big if) the line up is going to be Young and Sweat then Allen is a nightmare matchup against any guard in the league. In rotation he will also line up on an end.I cant believe you guys would pass on a first for Allen right now.
Allen may play left DE on 1st down or something and short and Young/Sweat/Kerrigan play end on something and long with Allen and Ironman inside. Payne and Ironman are swing tackles. But really who knows what the new coaching staff is thinking, who they might cut or who they might bring in.
why ? he was a 1st round pick so we would have to do better then 17th to make it worth it . trade ionman and parlay a 5th rounder into a 1stI cant believe you guys would pass on a first for Allen right now.

b/c Payne and Ionman shouldn't come of the field. If we keep RK then you have Sweat and Young at DE. That's three. The odd man out is Allen. We will have Settle as the 3rd DT.
Thing is, you don't keep Kerrigan. Indianapolis Colts wanted him and they currently hold what was our #2 selection in the draft. Give us that pick back and wish RK well with the Colts.
For the record that pick is number 34 overall. Now if Indy is still interested, tell me you would jump on that trade.
