Stick a fork in him... he's done.

Dude aged 10 years in 6 games. I dont know what happened, but he looks old and awfully late career "bret favre-ish" he still might be good enough for them to win THIS year, but hes clearly lost a few steps.

Sounds like the Broncs could be falling apart. Gase and Del Rio leaving, and several free agents may also. Manning may just stay home and make commercials, and count money. I always liked him, but lately getting tired of seeing him on Pizza and insurance commercials. Time to go. It kinda stinks that he won't be squaring off v.s Brady one more time.

I think he plays one more year and has a grand retirement season rather than exit on an ugly loss to his successor.

Manning had a great career now it's time to buy auto dealerships and sell cars.

He is still better than 80% of the Qb's in the NFL.

Up until yesterday I would agree. Yesterday he looked like Mark Sanchez. I think he is done. Oh and if Chip wants to move on from Foles that is the perfect team to deal him to. They are used to having q statue at QB

I think 80% is a stretch but he is still better than most. Manning's problem is arm strength. It was a problem when came back and it was not really exposed until yesterday. Well I think Seattle may have really exposed it in the Superbowl because they smacked the Bronco receivers in the mouth. Yesterday the Colts took away his strength and that was the short stuff and dared him to beat them deep and he could not do it. He looked every bit the aging QB yesterday.

He did look old yesterday, but Pagano can really gameplan.

Peyton will be back. That's not how you want to go out. They should make a living on CJ Anderson earlier in the season next year and keep Peyton fresh.

He played with a Quad injury. That is why he looked old.

They were saying both quads were injured. That could be a sign of getting older. Sometimes the mind is still willing but the body isn't. :(

It would explain why his throws were tailing off so drastically in the second half of the season... He couldn't get anything on his throws downfield.

Even if he gets healthy, not sure if he'll even return, the coach is gone, his OC might leave and they got pending cap issues and a lot of key players to resign - definitely won't be the same team next year.

Unless Peyton gets to pick the next head coach and offensive cooridanator I doubt he comes back. Why would he want to learn a new offense at his age. He will just continue doing his commericals and telling us Chicken Parm tastes so good.

He's the OC for the most part and will probably help pick the next coach. He'll rehab and come back.
