To sum this up
Perry goes to a Halloween party at a Kings fan. Sees a bobblehead and breaks the head off and kicks the head over a fence.
First it is a Halloween party and he has no costume
Second breaking things in a home of someone you don't know is childish
Third Lupul looks wasted.

Here is something else I find funny. The writers of this story rip Perry for being a jerk. I would guess that if Simmonds had done this to a Perry doll he would be a hero.

Yep I am married to a Ducks fan. Maybe that is why I can see the other side of the story. She thinks he is a star of her team. She likes that he goes to the net and into the corners. She thinks he (like Dustin Brown) should accept a fight every now and again because she feels they are both on the border of dirty. She says that Perry, Getz, Ryan, Selanne, and Hiller are the only players on the team (Fowler is next on the list). she thinks if Perry could clean up his game a little he could avoid taking stupid penalties and would be a better team player.

As for this stunt she think he was a drunken idiot, thinking he was being funny. She doesn't think it was a personal attack, just a stupid rivalry play... just like some fans can get too much beer! And she would feel the same way if roles were reversed. via text message from the wife. pronouns changed for readablity.

She doesn't see Perry as a "dirty' player. Hockey demands toughness by nature or you'll never score but a player should not be out for blood just for amusment.

I guess every team has a guy that people think are a little too close or just on the wrong side of being dirty. What we consider dirty now would have been thought of as "hard working" years ago.

I should say that if Perry were not a Duck my wife would most likely hate him, but she has her teal colored (yes she has been a Ducks fan since pre 93) glasses. I am trying to return her to being a Kings fan. She has met most of the current Kings players, staff and former players. It is a lot harder to met Ducks. That is something she really likes to do. If the Ducks trade Ryan or Getz the conversion should be complete.
