Seattle just has a brutal schedule, this is not going to help.
They had a brutal schedule last year too.

Practice? Dude had a headache, skipped practice and hurt his hip tripping over his dog back at home.

They had like the 3rd or 4th easiest schedule in the NFC last season.

No they didn't. You obviously have access to the internet, let's learn how to use it ok?
Last year and this year, their pre-season SOS ranking was 11th.
They also had the highest strength of victory last year. So a tougher schedule would actually be welcome IMO.
Only the Bucs, Redskins, and Falcons had weaker SOS last season in the NFC>
Even though I hate the jets and their fans, I'll give you a little help.
First of all the Falcons, Eagles, Bucs, Redskins and Panthers all had easier schedules.
Second of all, how is it a reflection of the Seahawks when the AFC has the vast majority of easiest schedules?
The Seahawks had the 12th hardest schedule in the NFL last year.
Where are you seeing this? This link shows that Tampa, Washington, and Atlanta were the only ones that had easier schedules (in the NFC). They were tied with San Francisco.

Uhhhhh, the only thing I will say about SOS in the NFL is that it is BS. 2 Teams can play the Exact same schedule but they cant because in week 1 only 2 teams can be on one field.
Some teams are better in October than in December. Other teams might be decent till an Injury happens. SOS takes none of this into consideration. If 2 teams play the same 16 teams, they have the same SOS.
This year the way the Schedule breaks for Seattle is Just Utterly Brutal.
At Carolina
San Fransisco
Jacksonville
At Houston
At Indianapolis
Tennessee
At Arizona
At St. Louis
Tampa Bay
At Atlanta
Minnesota
BYE
New Orleans
At San Fransisco
At New York Giants
Arizona
St. Louis
They have 6 Road Games in the first 10 weeks
At 7-9 Carolina
At 12-4 Houston
At 10-6 Indianapolis
At 5-11 Arizona
At 7-8-1 St. Louis
At 13-3 Atlanta
That is just brutal, especially since all but Houston have improved.
Then that is followed up by a 4 game stretch vs
Minnesota
New Orleans
At San Fransisco
At New York Giants
If the Seahawks are 3-11 or 4-10 I would not be Shocked.
