I think it will come down to tempo. If it's a fast paced game the Lightning will have the advantage. But if it's slowed down & played along the boards then the Pens will have the advantage. I think the Lightning will have the goaltending advantage tho, Vasilevskiy is probably better than Greiss even if he's inexperienced.

Great game by the Bolts tonight but the Pens put a scare in me at the end , I thought it was the Islanders all over again. Vasi played good again it was the D that let him down near the end.

Crosby was not a factor, I hardly noticed him out there all night. He must still be ailing. The surprise was when they pulled MAF.

I agree, Sid has been a non factor as of late. They shouldn't have started MAF IMO. He played a game that went into the 14th round of the shootout just the previous night.

To me this was a disappointing win. Yes we beat the Pens, yes it's 2 points but it's a win I don feel all the great about. The Pens were on a back-to-back so you thought there energy levels might be low. We jumped out to a early 4-0 lead, they pulled their goalie effectively as much it could of been to generate a spark, to me it was a sign that they were given up on the game and from then on in we gradually let the foot off the gas and the let the Pens back into it. Rather than sticking with it and keeping to foot on the pedal coming away with a nice comfortable win feeling good about ourselves and instilling a bit of much needed confidence we find ourselves scrapping for a win. To me we found ourselves in a situation at the end of the game that we shouldn't of been in

I agree with Danny. To me, when the Pens scored their 1st goal making it 4-1 I was disappointed for Vassi. My 1st thought was how hard he has played & you couldn't "try" to get him the shutout! The Bolts were just coasting, you could tell, the D was nowhere to be found & it looked like to me that they were just content with the score.

True Ishall, but gotta give Geno credit for never giving up. He's become the true leader of the team.
