Deserves his own thread. This run D that has stuffed 4 Pro Bowlers starts with Domata in the middle. He’s been absolutely dominating and is the off season free agent signing of the year in my opinion. Stay healthy!

Davis did play well yesterday. And so did Will Parks.

Peko was a huge signing. And the funny thing is so many Bengals fans were pretty much doing the "don't let the door hit you on the way out" as he was leaving. He was misused in my opinion with the Bengals. So far with the Broncos though he has changed how people view this defense. You don't usually change the minds of people in just 4 games but this Bronco run defense has done just that. I don't even hear people saying "well the weakness of this defense is the run defense." The first couple of weeks that was the case.

Todd Davis is a two down LB'er, and I hate seeing him get burned in coverage. He's not one of my favorites by a long shot, but Peko is quickly becoming one.

We are an entirely different team with him on the line.

Parks had a lot of really good plays. I was impressed as he had a couple of plays where the team even trusted him to cover Cooper and he held up well. The problem with Parks is when he has a bad play it is a really bad play. He got caught on a double move that left the TE wide open for what should have been a big TD for the Raiders that was dropped. PFF they set up their grading scale that really big plays and really bad plays don't really change the score a whole lot. They are still only worth -1 or +1. So a 5 yard run by a RB can be a +1 but so can a 50 yard run. To me those deserve different scores. It is a decent system but far from perfect.

He’s on a 2year deal. Next year he gets 900,000 more than this year. We could cut him next year and it would be 500,000 in dead money. His contact is a total of $7.5 million.

Peko has been great. A huge X factor for our run D this year.

Todd Davis is very good against the run. Not so good against the pass but I will say (knock on wood) he has been better vs pass this year then last two.

Very good article. I had read of very similar stories from his time with the Bengals. Players were pretty darn upset when they learned he would not be back with the team. They felt like the heart of their defense was leaving with Peko. So with Ware leaving this offseason for retirement I'm very happy the Broncos realized the value of a guy like Peko to become the new voice in the locker room that helped unite players.

IMO Peko was our best player today.

I wish everyone had the motor and heart and love for the game that this guy had. I love this guys game.
