This guy was a class act. Sad to see him leave like this.

One of the most memorable goals I've ever experienced was his slap shot against the Devils in the cup finals against the Ducks. You know, after he returned from Scott Stevens almost killing him.

Not sure how old most of you guys are....I'm in my early 30's....it is sad to see my favorite players retiring...

Definately sad. I would've liked to see him.get a cup too, no way he didn't deserve one.

That said Teresa no way the guy didn't have a concussion after Stevens got him. I don't even think the lindros hitvwas as big as that

Unfortunately Stevens hit on Kariya is an indefensible one. Hell of a player, and I think he already made a comment regarding concussions and how the NHL needs to deal with them. They could use a spokesman like him to advocate concussion awareness.
