The Ravens will visit Foxboro to engage the Pats.

I heard on radio that in previous years with both teams Tom Brady has a under 50% rating while Joe Flacco has over 100%. Not sure that is right but it was on sports radio.

Poll is up.

Everything points to the Pats in this one, but if any team can beat them in Foxboro it's Baltimore. Flacco is going to have to turn on whatever switch he flipped in the playoffs two years ago for that to happen though.

I like the way you think. I think Brady comes out totally focused. As long as they can keep the Ravens honest with some decent run plays Pats should win. Tom needs just a few seconds of protection. Beat the linebackers and DBs with short passes.

The Patriots will take this game in a blowout in my opinion. They're rested, they're at home and they're sick and tired of hearing about how the Ravens are their playoff kryptonite. Bellichick and Brady are coming for blood. Patriots 38 - Ravens 14.

As for the game after that one......well I'm predicting a different story.

Take care of business here, I think the Pats cruise past Indy or Denver

I think the Pats win a close one. Something like 24-20.

Can't find it now (and I am at work so i can't look too hard) but I did see the stats for Brady against the Ravens and they aren't good at all.

With the said... Patriots win, they are healthy and they have a much better defense than the last time.

Brady is 5-2 in his seven games against the Ravens, not a bad record. But his personal statistics are among the poorest against any of the 31 teams he's faced in his 13-year career.

His 58.6 completion percentage and 74.1 passer rating are the lowest against any opponent. The Ravens are the only team he's thrown more interceptions against (eight) than touchdowns (seven). They've sacked him 16 times, one of five teams averaging more than two a game against Brady.

In five games against the Patriots, Flacco is 2-3 but has completed 64.7 percent of his passes with a 95.7 passer rating. He's thrown for nine touchdowns and just four interceptions.

Brady's 49.1 rating in a 33-14 playoff loss to Baltimore on Jan. 10, 2010 is his lowest in his last 101 games and sixth lowest in his 198 career starts, including the postseason.

I think that is a real possibility. The narrative that the Ravens are the Patriots kryptonite is dominating the week and it's got to be pissing off the Patriots. All of them.

Sort of like how the Patriots were left for dead after the KC debacle.

That doesn't diminish the Ravens chances because they do have a stout Dline and aren't afraid of foxboro but we shall see. This is a much better Patriots team then the Ravens have faced in the past.

Ngata, Suggs, Doom, McPhee and Williams will make life miserable for Brady. Flacco throws for 275 and 2 (no picks).

Ravens 27 Pats 16
