What position in the history of the Patriots do you think is our best?

For me I think TE. Gronk.... Coates....Watson....Francis.....Henry

Kicker might be second. Vinatieri.... Gostkowski...Folk

We've had great DB's....

What positions and players do you have?

Like tb12 ain't a homo too... don't hate
It's not about hate. Hernandez was conflicted by being gay in "a man's world" and responded by being an aggressive psychopath. That has nothing to do with being gay, but specifically for Hernandez being gay.

Certainly Hernandez was a very good TE.
Unfortunately, he was also a gay, murdering, wanabe gang banger......

Jim Plunket?
Unfortunately not while he was with the Pats. If we were to weight the positions by the greatness of the players then QB would probably come in one with guard probably coming in two. However, if we rate it toward the number of quality contributors it's probably TE, CB then possibly safety.

didnt u read the rules lol:suds:

yet he put henry on his list who hasnt done squat

qb-brady/grogan/bledsoe
rb=cunningham/nance/collins
wr= morgan/welker/edelman/brown
te=gronk/coates/francis
k=gost/vinateri/cappelletti
ol=hannah/mankins/armstrong/light
lb=tippett/nelson/bruski/mcginnis
nt=wilfork/antwine
de=seymore/adams
cb=clayborn/mccourty/law/haynes

so TE doesnt shine compared to other positions in my opinion
i probably missed a few too

Not sure why McCourty, who played a season and a half at cornerback is on the list, but the other names put cornerbacks near the top. I'm okay with either TE or CB being at 1. I see serious flaws in most of your groups too.

Hunter Henry had a very good year last year.

Gronk is considered by many as the best TE ever and Coats top 15. We don't have another position on this team besides kicker that can say that. We do not have 2 players who are considered top 1-15 at a certain position in the history of the NFL. Maybe CB.

Logan Mankins, John Hanna?

CB is certainly a good choice too......

You think Mankins is a top 15 guards ever? Probably pretty close.

Did a quick looks at 4 different rankings of NFL guards. Mankins isn't top 30 in any of them.

Gronk is the best TE ever. Most of the pretenders are big WRs. Brink dominated (DOMINATED) on the line and made circus catches all with guys taking shots at both his knees and ribs. He took most of it.
