Sometimes that stupid little letter makes people play differently, as we all saw with him a few years back. If he doesn't want to wear it, I have no problem with that. Everyone is different.

Without a doubt. He was the voice of the team when Langenbrunner went out, and it was obvious the Devils didn't think they needed to give the c to anyone until Zach got back because Elias could carry the responsibility until then.

Besides Patrik still has an A.

Marty is really the captain of the team no matter who actually wears the C. One reason I never like Langs as captain is because I feel the captain should be somebody that can be a game changer, 1 play, 1 shift step up to another level and change the momentum. Parise can be that guy, and will be that guy. I like Patty as an alternate, it seems right.
