Got a elbow to the head (not a penalty) and has left the game.

We cant lose Bergy.

It sure didn't look bad. I just don't see concussion resulting from that play.

If Patrice did indeed get a concussion from that play, that is a bad sign.

I hope he just twisted something; awesome player. Hopefully he'll be OK.

Maybe hold him out of the rest of this game for precautionary purposes.. but otherwise I hope he's OK.

I agree it did not look terrible but his head did snap with the contact. I hope you are right and its is just being careful

Honestly, I'd guess a stinger first. And stingers aren't some magical thing you can immediately bounce back from like most hockey fans think. Arm goes numb, no strength for a bit. Hope for that though. Could still be a concussion, but I'd sooner guess neck.

We know the feeling with Crosby. Every hit worries you, but he'll bounce back. My only concern is that he didn't grab his stick on the way to the bench. For whatever reason, that really stuck out to me.

Being that nothing has been reported I was already thinking this was the case. I am extremely bummed.

I can see why no penalty called on the play, even if it was noticed. His head went into Greening's forearm/elbow as Greening was playing the puck. No elbowing motion or forearm movement from Greening, just Bergy's head slamming into his arm.

Hope it's mild and he recovers soon.

that is teh scary part is that it really didnt look terrible more glancing. those soft ones that cause an old concussion to come back can be terrible. hope he is good

I am not calling for a penalty at all. At best Bergy was the one who made contact.

In my first post I specifically said (No Penalty)

As bad as I am bummed about Patrice being concussed and especially at this time I do not think in the least bit that there was a penalty in the least.

I am just hoping it is a minor one and he will make it back again.
