Nice thing is this is just an extension. So he still has 2 more years before this contract even kicks in. By then guys like Sauce and McDuffie will have been paid so yeah it won't take long for him to see this deal passed.

That is the nice thing is that cap hell can disappear in just a single season. Taking the big dead money hit this year really does open this team to being very aggressive next year to bring in some free agents. Throw in having a full slate of draft picks while a QB is on a rookie contract is the golden ticket for the next few years. Teams mock the Broncos for having to pay Wilson all that money and not have him playing here but reality is worse decision is not moving on from a bad mistake.
