Missed the game because we went out with friends to celebrate me and my wives annivetary although its today.still haven't watched it yet even though we dvred it.from what I read despite the score they played a solid game.haven't seen the parse injury yet did it look bad? Hopefully its not bad or he has a speedy recovery Definatly not a player we need to lose for an extended period.even with kovy he's still the heart of the team

Haha i wouldn't say we're screwed if Parise's injured.

I love him as a player don't get me wrong and he's easily for me our best of right up there. But we could lose anyone out there at the moment and it won't make a difference.

For me, the hardest injury loss we've had so far has been Volchenkov, in my opinion he's who we need back.

According to TG, Parise was injured back in august and he was playing through it. It could explain why he has been ineffective during the season. His game relies heavily on getting to the loose pucks first.

Hopefully he can recover quickly because the injuries somehow have gotten even worse.

I believe that Mills was already called up as Parise's replacement. Roster spot replacement, obviously.

Didn't mills replace JJ? I guess Sestito is still with the big team anyway. Furthermore, I don't think they'll place Parise on IR just yet. If this was a nagging injury that he was able to play on we might not be without him too long.

The next question is how much did this injury slow Zach down? He's obviously off to one of his wort starts ever.

True, it sounds minor(hopeful, ha). He obviously had that players mentality of just keep playing and it'll go away try & play through it which is admirable really and shows his commitment to the team. Only problem with that is that it may of been minor at one time but if he's done any damage to it through wear and tear it could be quite costly. Fingers crossed.

That's probably a good thing. They're not seeing anything major on the xrays, etc.
