From all I’ve heard he is 100%
Really? From whom? He wouldn't even step on the practice field in NE. So my question is how does anyone know how that repaired quad will react?

I’m sensing a little bitterness here.
No, not really.

Just curious where you got your info from?

Oh and good luck when he wants to re/negotiate his contract this year or next. He may be the piece your D needs. NE had other holes to fill. Gilmore couldn't and didn't even want to step on the practice field.

I thought the Pats released him. I am a little confused.

I thought the Pats released him. I am a little confused.
They announced it so that anyone who really wanted him would offer something.

The Bucs, Saints and Pack all inquired and all backed away because Gilmore said he wouldn't play unless he got a new contract and/or extension.
His required extension with the Patriots was $54M/3 years $40M guaranteed. That will be the starting point for the Panthers.

Belichick tried to get him to restructure his contract and pick up a bigger paycheck in 2021 but since it was even close to Jalen ramsey's, Gilmore said no.

The only fly that can get into Gilmore's ointment would be an i njury in 2021. His quad has been declared healed, but the guy hasn't done one football activity since Nov.29, 2020. He's going to need at least two weeks of full practice before he really plays. There are two questions. (1) Will the quad hold up an not re-tear? (2) Will he favor it as to not re-injure it and suffer another injury that requires another year off?

Gilmore is a mercenary and is playing his final go around for the bucks.

Just read that if Gilmore leaves for free agency at the end of the year the Panther's are projected to get a 2023 5th round compensatory pick. So Panther's GM turns a 2023 6th round pick into a 5th round pick and gets Stephon Gilmore at a most reasonable salary
So Gilmore is out for the year.
Panthers got a $7 million rental that has 3int's and 5 passes defended in 2 years.
Do they now wipe their ass with the $7 million and send him packing or do they sign another contract and hope he gets younger and healthier?

Probably cut bait. Take their compensatory pick and move on.

Gilmore then signs with the Pats for short, prove it money, to replace J.C. Jackson. :)

Fuckin Pats... you watch, they'll sign him for like a 2 year $7M deal and he'll play at a HOF level, and then they'll sign Rashaad Penny for a 2 year $3M deal and the fucker will magically stay healthy and play at a HOF level before the Pats trade both for multiple early picks, while the stupid ass Pats create Tom Brady 2.0 with Mac Jones. Bunch of bullshit...

............

K, I'm calm now.
