NO. no, no...no no no...

The Best Free Agency Landing Spot For Cam Newton After His Panthers' Release

Patriots’ current quarterback options
With Tom Brady signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it has left the Patriots in a hard position, and the quarterbacks on the roster aren’t going to lead them to the playoffs.

Brian Hoyer, Cody Kessler, and Jarrett Stidham are the three guys currently under center for the Patriots. Hoyer has the most experience, but he hasn’t ever really led many teams to a lot of success. During his career, Hoyer has made 38 starts, winning only 16 of them.

Kessler doesn’t really have any real shot to start, and it’s hard to imagine he is going to be on the roster once the season starts. Stidham was drafted as a project, and there is a chance he could still be the long-term option for the Patriots.

Sitting and learning behind a veteran wouldn’t be the worst thing, and Newton could be the perfect guy.

Or would this fella be a better option?

As a backup (which it should be) there should be some options assuming he can actually play.
Yeah, I'm curious as well. His health has to be the biggest factor for potential suitors I would think. I think his best days are behind him just like Andrew Luck. Too much of a beating.

The obvious guess is he demands more than he's worth... Ballpark of $25m per. Don't see many GMs stupid enough to do that. But at what point does he decide what his best option is. Since the Chargers lost out on the Brady sweepstakes my guess is they are the likely candidate to offer the highest amount. But it appears they are drafting for their future this offseason.

If Andy Dalton ends up in N.E. that dingbat mrschaney will jump on the Pats bangwagon & she'll never shut up. Which could be funny in a way now that I think about it.

Much like Bridgewater had to take a back up role and work his way back...Cam might have to do the same thing now....it looks as if he peaked the '15 season and has been on a decline ever since, and he missed the majority of the '19 season.

Chargers are the best bet, maybe MIA. I don't believe the Chargers want to start their 1st season in a brand new stadium as the 2nd tenant with a rookie QB and winning 4 or 5 games in front of 40,000 fans in a 75,000 seat stadium.

If he wants to play...I think he takes something in the $8 to 10 mil range for a yr and tries to parlay that into another multi-yr deal. If he really doesn't want to play anymore...command $25 mil per.

Wow, that's one I've never seen. Perhaps the answer is that Cam Newton isn't a cross-dresser or gay. He's Angela Lansbury.

That’s Versace, man!

Von Miller stole his soul. He was MVP and flying high heading into SB 50. Then he met Von and Wade Phillips defense and he's never been the same. Poor guy.

Go Broncos!

The Panthers said several weeks back that they were moving forward with him. I guess Brady going to the division had an impact.

If NE signs Cam, which I don't think is possible cap wise?
I may have to find a new team. I truly dislike that douche nozzle that much.

Maybe he should go play fullback for someone?

Supposedly he passed a physical. If he's healthy, he's a starting level QB at least.

We all knew you were a bandwagon fan, you don't have to look for excuses to move on to the Chiefs, it's expected from your kind.

Thanks Chewy. Can always count on you for great insight.

I see you're still pissed I called you out and proved it. Causing you to lose face with your little band of merry men.

Still and always laughing at your dumb ass.

You called me out for something? Must have missed it, but knowing you, it was probably retarded.

Keep playing dumb.

You're really really really good at it. Almost as if you weren't playing at all.
