He's better than Tim Boyle.Bortles has a 59 comp%, his TD/INT ratio sucks, a 80.6 passer rating sucks.
What are they thinking?
He's better than Tim Boyle.
With a reasonably high amount of confidence. Bortles has random games where he is passable as an NFL starter. Good enough to be a backup QB. Obviously you're fucked if he's starting significant games, but that's kind of everybody with backup QB's.Do we really know that?

What has Tim Boyle done in college or preseason to merit thinking Boyle>Bortles?
His 100M time wowed them at the combineWhy is Boyle in the NFL at all?
Can't all be lucky to have studs like Newton and StidhamPackers signed QB Blake Bortles, formerly of the Rams, to a one-year contract.
Bortles, 29, has familiarity with both coach Matt LaFleur with the Rams and OC Nathaniel Hackett after the two went to the AFC title game together with the Jaguars. This move is solely based on familiarity, as Hackett reportedly "loves" Bortles. For Bortles, he'll get to sling the ball around at in-person workouts next week alongside Jordan Love with Aaron Rodgers keeping his distance from the team in hope of a trade out of town. Love and Bortles would make for a hilariously-bad QB duo if Rodgers is indeed dealt.
He's signed in Naw LeansWhy not Jameis? Unless they just want a clipboard holding backup that can help coach up Love?
Ah. The FA list I was lookin at wasnt up to date apparentlyHe's signed in Naw Leans
