Is it only funny to me that the PAC 12 Championship is sponsored by a petroleum products company in the land of renewable energy???
What's funny to me is that the Pac has a substitute champion instead of a team that won one of its divisions.
Are you talking about 2011 when they lost a tight defensive struggle against LSU in the regular season, then totally embarrassed the Bayou Bengals in the National Championship Game?; or 2017, when an injury-depleted team lost to Auburn in the Iron Bowl, then went on to put the clamps on Clemson in the semi-finals & out last Georgia in the title game? Both wins were legit. What's funny to me is Alabama claiming a NC in a year they didn't win their division.
Looking for NCAA rule that requires you to win division in order to win NC.
Anyone? Anyone?
Claimed, they didn’t claim anything. They won. Oregon didn’t win the Pac 12 North, they were a substitute and the history book will always have an asterisk next to the Pac 12 championship because Oregon didn’t earn itWhat's funny to me is Alabama claiming a NC in a year they didn't win their division.
Alabama too. Damn asterisks.Claimed, they didn’t claim anything. They won. Oregon didn’t win the Pac 12 North, they were a substitute and the history book will always have an asterisk next to the Pac 12 championship because Oregon didn’t earn it
