I believe Gordon will shine in the passing game, especially in the first half of season as Lock gets acclimated to being the man. Gordon is very reliable, and a seasoned vet. Once Lock gets comfortable he will start to spread his wings and deliver fastballs all over the field. It will be towards the end of the season that Gordon will shine again.

Gordon was signed and given the big bucks for scoring TDS - short yardage pops. The Broncos will get their money's worth and see if he worth it. Scoring TDs is what Gordon does best - 2nd best is catching the ball.

I saw an interesting play recently of the Shumur offense in NY. The Giant's TE is split off the line with two WRs and Barkley in the backfield. Jones takes the snap Barkley runs like he is safety valve play in the flat, but - all of a sudden Barkley bursts his route up the middle of the field seam and Jones throws him the ball deep. I can easily see Gordon on that play - probably better than Barkley.

So what I'm saying for Gordon - Over on the TDs and Over on the total yards receiving.
