... for 2-10 Houston at 3-9 Jacksonville tomorrow night. Are you one of them?

Kind of amazing that that so many people will watch what figures to be such an inconsequential game. I heard a piece about this on the radio this morning and I think that they said that the 25 most watched TV programs since September were all NFL games. That surprised me too.

And, yes, I will probably watch the game tomorrow night.

I'll watch. I'm a football fan who craves football. I also want to see Houston win. I hate Houston, but I want them to win so the Skins have a better shot at getting the #1 pick :)

Yes, I will probably watch at least some of that game. I'm expecting to be underwhelmed, though.

LOL I guess almost any fan has some reason to watch! Personally, I will watch to hope against hope that Case Keenum can turn the Texans around and perhaps save Gary Kubiak's job.

I'm a pretty hardcore NFL fan so I'll tune in. They're pros. Bad teams can play good games. If they're stinking it up I won't stick around.

Yeah, if they stink it up with a FG fest I'll bail early. but a bad game where there is plenty of scoring can be fun.

Wouldn't that be so that the RAMS would get a better shot at the #1 pick?

On topic, I will watch, I just love football.

LOL I suspect that those are two of the main reasons that so many will watch.

If JJ Watt were playing in a Pop Warner game, i'd do everything in my power to tune in. That Texans team has clearly given up in a quest to get Teddy, but greatness is greatness. And nothing says greatness like Justin James Watt.

If at any time I notice it looks like the Jaguars are spying on the Texans I'll be turning the game off without a second thought.

Do you really think that the Texans are deliberately losing games? Having gone from first in their division last year to last place this year, along with their current ten-game losing streak, I can see how some might think that Houston is intentionally tanking games, but I am very skeptical of that. If they are trying to lose games, they surely could have done that in more convincing fashion than they have, losing their last six by 3, 7, 5, 3, 3, and 1 point. Seems unlikely to me that a team intent on losing games to improve its draft position would have been that competitive in its losses.

LOL Don't recall anyone ever accusing the Jags of spying.

Do I think they are deliberately losing games? No.
Do I think they are giving 100% effort on a weekly basis? Also no.

I don't doubt that, but that seems very different than a team that "has clearly given up in a quest to get Teddy". Surely there are players who are discouraged by all of the losing and that adversely affects their approach to preparing and playing each week. At the same time, I think that the incentive for guys to keep their jobs is great enough to prevent a team-wide conspiracy to tank games in order to enhance the team's draft position.
