I've heard that AK wasn't happy at all when he discovered that LR had been contacted by JH and LR was thinking about bringing JH in. AK basically threatened to leave if it was true. LR called his bluff...I'm thinking that the JH train has been headed to Norman for a while now. AK didn't want any more competition.

SO, we have ourselves a QB with very sour grapes trying to dictate to the coach what is going to happen with the program. Good luck with that young man. There would be concern that those sour grapes would turn into a loss of competitive edge if you get what I'm saying.

He is free to go to WVU, he'll just lose a year of eligibility. If he were to transfer anywhere else OUTSIDE of the conference it wouldn't be an issue. Trust me, LR would rather have him here...and if he was smart he would stay here. He will be lucky to make an NFL roster someday.

I'd be all for him transferring to WVU. If anything, OU is giving AK and WVU too much credit. Not sure they could beat OU anyway.

The kid is a grad transfer. OU was wrong to even try and block it from the start. If they're actively trying to bring in another QB, he has every right to go anywhere if they want him.
