[SENATORS]
Ottawa will look to close out the 2010-11 campaign with its third straight win against a playoff-bound opponent. The Senators scored a 5-2 victory over Philadelphia on Tuesday and notched a 3-2 decision over the Montreal Canadiens in their final home game on Thursday. Trailing 1-0 entering the third, the Senators scored twice before allowing the game to slip into overtime when Montreal's Mike Cammalleri scored with just 11 seconds left in regulation. Filip Kuba then connected for his second of the season 1:16 into the extra period to send the Ottawa fans home happy.
A moment of silence was observed prior to the game in memory of EJ McGuire, the Vice President of NHL Central Scouting. McGuire, who died of cancer Thursday at the age of 58, was an assistant coach for the Senators' first three seasons from 1992-95.
