Decades ago, when he was writing for the Chron, I really liked his column. Dickey was the asshat at the time and Lowell always seemed more refined. Since he was fired, he seems like a whiny bitch most of the time and I don't tend to enjoy his columns or his radio appearances.

Here's the money shot for me:
